On June 25, 2009 we pulled in to Monterey, CA. Once we strategically parked our trailer we were able to unpack it in about four hours (this was actually quite horrible). We were so tired but happy to have made it in one piece (humans, canines, & automobile)! We spent three days unpacking and arranging our stuff in the new place but I think we were settled in record time.
After unpacking, the first item on our list was to buy Jake a bike. This place is extremely bike friendly and it is his new transportation to and from school (school = work, I sometimes use these interchangeably when I talk about Jake's daily life).
On our first trip out to explore Monterey (on bikes) we were pleasantly surprised to find sea lions all along the coast!
