Here's what you missed!

Here's what you've missed in the last 8 months-

Alecia, Jacob, Brooke and Matt all banded together to attend a Raiders game but ended up watching the crowd instead and OH WHAT A DAY that was.

General good times in Monterey with our new friends - celebrating birthdays, galavanting, carrying on and such.

Alecia and Jacob flew to Orlando for Christmas to see the Florida folk. After 5 days we flew back to California and then woke up and flew the next day to HAWAII!

We spent 10 glorious days in Hawaii and visited our good friends Matt and Tiffanie Jennerich. We drove the entire islands of Oahu and Maui and sought out those infamous LOST sites. Best quote of the trip goes to Jake: "I generally don't take your feelings into account when planning activities." Because, oh that's right- I was 8 months pregnant during this escapade and someone forgot to account for this...

Once back in Monterey, after the new year, Jacob and I realized that the child we created was going to need a place to sleep, so off to the mecca of all things baby we went. After several trips and several self-imposed time outs at BabiesRUs we finally had a nook for Alexander to retreat to when he has had enough of his crazy parents.

FEBRUARY 19TH! baby boy Alexander Jacob was born at 11:50 AM. He was so excited to be part of our family that he decided to join us a month early. So now we are PARENTS and of course we adore our new little boy.

Jacob is a boy with many dreams and one of them is to run a marathon. So one EARLY morning in April we were up and out. Jacob ran the Big Sur Marathon after training for... oh wait, after NOT training! We were just happy that he didn't keel over (no, seriously). SO proud of him for completing this goal, and I only made minimal fun of him when he couldn't walk for the next week.

Alexander is now three and a half months old and couldn't wait to meet all those faces in Florida who love him so. SO Alecia flew sans Jacob back to Orlando for the baby parade. WHAT a whirlwind tour- Orlando, Jacksonville, Yulee, St. Marys (GA), Land O'Lakes, and JUPITER! Alexander met lots of family and friends and a few potential future girlfriends :)
