I am really considering switching to cloth diapers.
No, It's not blue moon season and I'm pretty sure it is still hot in hades ;)
I guess it is hard for me to decide because the cost savings for us right now would not be that much because I would have to use a diaper service (we are in an apartment and don't have our own washer and dryer). But I'm thinking that even if we do save about $25 a month it is worth it and so the other bonus of being better for the environment is just icing on the cake. I also wonder if it would be more comfortable for Alexander. I find that I do a lot of things to make him more comfortable and I wonder how much of it really matters. I hate seeing those marks on his skin from the elastic of the disposable diapers. Would this improve or go away with cloth ones? I have no idea.
Does anyone have any comments or arguments for or against cloth diapers? If you are wondering, this idea is the result of me hanging out with my new California mommy friends and turning off the t.v. during the day, which produces a magical result of thinking.
So I apologize for the picture but I thought it was (somewhat) appropriate :)
